Bluegrass band that sounds like nothing else in bluegrass—cello, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, bass, and a genuine sense that someone's going to say something that makes you uncomfortable in the best way. Their new album Pet (out Feb 2026) was recorded live to tape, which tracks because their power is in the room: raw, gritty, emotionally heavy. Expect covers of anti-capitalist and anti-gun-violence songs alongside instrumentals that let you breathe. The band descends into the crowd for their closer. They're reclaiming 'big dick energy' from male bluegrass bands and they know exactly how funny that is.
